National Healthcare Decisions Day

two women looking over healthcare plans

Today April 16, is National Health Care Decisions Day and we’d like to encourage you to talk to your family and personal doctor about your wishes for end-of-life care.

Network Health recommends that all adults, ages 18 and over, complete advance care planning documents. These documents allow you to document your health care wishes and to select another person(s) to make health care decisions if you become unable to decide for yourself. Resources are available through your personal doctor, your county Aging and Disability Resource Center, as well as through various internet sites, including the Wisconsin State Law Library
