What is a Marketplace

Health Care Reform might be confusing, but Network Health is here to help. This video explains what a “Marketplace” is and how you can use it to shop for the right health insurance during Open Enrollment.

The Marketplace is also known as the health insurance exchange. It’s an organized website where you can purchase health insurance. The site is operated by the government to help families and individuals more easily compare their coverage options.

For a Network Health plan, you can start shopping at networkhealth.com/individual and our plans are available on the Marketplace at HealthCare.gov as well.

When you use the Marketplace to purchase your health care coverage, you can also find out if you qualify for coverage through Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
