We love what we do at Network Health, and that’s not because we have a unique passion for talking about copayments and deductibles all day, even though those things are important. We love what we do at Network Health because we get the chance to impact people’s lives by doing the right thing, even when it isn’t easy. And those people are our friends, family and neighbors, here in Wisconsin.
Recently, our team received a letter from Mary, a Network Health member. Mary’s words speak for themselves and are a reminder of why we do what we do. This is Mary’s Network Health story.
"Life has many good and some bad things in it. Thankfully for me, I found the best health insurance when I needed them the most.
A friend of my husband told him about Sturtevant and Associates. He said, “go there, have a cup of coffee and they will fix you up with the best plan for you”. He sure was right!! Steve Sturtevant told us about Network Health almost ten years ago.
I will always remember the best comment Steve said about Network. He said that all different insurances want them to push and sell their plans, but when it came to testing who was best, he called each and every one. Network Health was the only one where he heard a voice on the other end. That meant a lot then and it still does.
I have had many health plans in my life, but none of them come close to Network Health.
I have a case manager, Cheryl, who is the best thing since homemade bread. Her kindness and compassion are wonderful, and her knowledge is superb! If she doesn’t know something, she will call and find out or she will give me a number to call.
My pharmacist, Anna, was so good from the very first time I called her. They stopped supplying the brand of a medication that I have been taking for years and what they had [available] did not work. Anna called around to different pharmacies, then called me back with good news. That was almost five years ago, and I have spoken to her many, many times since. She is like an angel in disguise. Anna helped me with different medications when they were discontinued. She helped me a lot when I was having issues with the mail order system. But the most important thing of all is she has listened to me when my heart was breaking over the loss of my daughter. Her heart is huge and that means so much to me.
Anna helped me with my fears about getting the Covid vaccine. She is so smart and understanding. When I call her and she answers, the voice on the other end is kind, knowledgeable and very calming to me. She is just plain wonderful!
My case manager, Cheryl, also helped me through many down times and she even helped me find a counselor to help me through my grief. My counselor, Jan, is not in-network, but because of my plan, NetworkCares, Cheryl said she would be covered. This was a Godsend to me because I saw Jan in the early 90’s, so it meant so much to see someone that knew me, and I knew her. Jan is great!
When my daughter was still here, I would tell her how helpful Cheryl is. She asked me several different times, “how did you get her?” I told her it was my Network Health [care team]. I sure wish she could have been as lucky as I am.
The bottom line to me is Network Health is more than an insurance plan to me. They are actual people that have big hearts, and they truly care. I have never felt like just a number with them.
So, if anyone [you know] is looking for a good insurance plan, I would say to them, don’t walk, run (but be careful) to your phone to get a Network Health plan. I promise you will not be disappointed.
I am truly blessed to have the best care team that I could ever have wished for. Thank you, Network Health, for all that you do. There is just so much that I love about Network Health, it is almost impossible to get it all in one letter."
