Managing medications is one of the more involved parts of taking them. Being able to coordinate your prescriptions, with the assistance of a doctor and pharmacist, and integrate new prescriptions while avoiding potentially dangerous drug interactions and staying on a schedule are important.

Network Health offers qualifying members a few benefits that go above and beyond the standard pharmacy guidance. In addition to having a team of pharmacists on hand to answer any questions about your medications or prescriptions, our Medication Therapy Management (MTM) program ensures your prescription plan is the right one for you.

Network Health Medicare Advantage plan members qualify for MTM if they have seven or more chronic medications, will reach a total drug cost of $4,696 in 2022 and have three or more of the following chronic conditions.

What is a comprehensive medication review?

As a part of the MTM program, a comprehensive medication review (CMR) is a consultation that takes about five minutes and allows you to talk directly with a Network Health pharmacist about your medications and prescriptions.

As experts on our members’ prescription medications, our pharmacists work with you and your provider to ensure you are using your prescription benefits in the best possible way and that your medication programs and regimens are aligned to deliver the best health to you.

Another benefit of the CMR is that it can save you money. Every year, our pharmacists help our members save thousands of dollars by reviewing their medication lists and working to ensure they are on the most cost-effective medication options.

How do I get my CMR and participate in MTM?

If you fall into the previously stated categories, our pharmacists work to reach out to you and let you know. However, with many members unable to be reached, it’s a program that could be a massive benefit to many who are not aware it exists.

If you feel like you should have access to this program and haven’t heard from us through Sinfonia/MedWiseRX, please contact us today through any of the following channels.
