High-quality coverage with the freedom to choose any doctor 

Network Health Point-of-Service (POS) plans offer access to the same high quality in-network health care facilities as the Network Health HMO plans, but members of the POS plan have the added flexibility to see doctors that aren’t contracted through Network Health’s network. That flexibility comes with a higher monthly premium.

Our POS plans are perfect for members who would like the freedom to see any doctor and are willing to pay a higher monthly premium for that choice. POS plans are available for small groups (2 – 50 employees) and large groups (51+ employees). Some high-deductible Network Health POS plans qualify for a Health Savings Account (HSA).

Out-of-Area Coverage Solutions

If your organization has employees living outside the Network Health service area, you may qualify to use Network Options wrap plan as part of your Network Health POS plan. The Network Options wrap plan allows out-of-area members to use participating health care facilities in their area at an in-network benefit level. Those members can receive care from out-of-network providers, but will pay less when using participating providers. To find a participating provider, go to myfirsthealth.com and enter your zip code to get started. Network Options wrap plan requires the following:

  • A total of at least 51 employees with 35+ enrolled in Network Health POS plan.
  • A minimum of 80 percent of enrolled employees must live within the Network Health service area.

By partnering with CVS/caremarkTM, our members have the convenience of a pharmacy near their home or workplace. Members also have access to many online tools to help find a pharmacy, view prescription history or order refills from a mobile device.
